Mike Corrado: News/Videos

Start Saving Me (acoustic) video - December 29, 2007

What happens in Kansas City when you're snowed in? I got bored and figured I'd make an acoustic video for "Start Saving Me." This will be one of the songs on my upcoming CD. After watching a couple of videos of folks doing covers of my songs, I figured I'd just do one myself. This is dedicated to all the families of our military, first responders or anyone who keeps the home fires burning while loved ones are away. Even the strong need to be saved sometimes.

Asleep At The Wheel (acoustic) video - December 28, 2007

An acoustic performance of Asleep At The Wheel by Mike Corrado. Asleep At The Wheel comes from Mike's 2001 CD: Ziller and the Baboon as well as the 2003 DVD Live At Thalian Hall.

Lamont & the new CD - October 12, 2007

Work continues on the new CD. I am up to 11 songs so far and have some others in the works. From there we'll pick and choose the best ones and put on the finishing touches. I recently teamed back up with longtime friend and MCB drummer Lamont Sydnor who tracked the drum parts for the disc. I have also been doing some work with some TV and Film producers in Los Angeles for some soundtrack work and have also submitted some songs to some major artists. I will keep you posted on how all that turns out.

There are also new videos playing nationwide on Select On Demand which gets distributed through Comcast Digital cable. You can go to their Music On Demand section, click on RehearsalsTV, select the ROCK category and look for the videos for "Magic" and "On My Watch Tonight." Please check them out if you get a chance.

I hope everyone is getting ready for Halloween and all the parties that entails. I will try to keep this section updated to keep you posted on all the news thats fit to print.
