I started writing this one while deployed to Iraq. I was coming up with bits and pieces of songs and lyrics but had a hard time really finding the time to work songs out or piece them together. With as much as was going on and a busy schedule, this song was only parts until I got home, back in the studio and put together the other lyrics and arrangement. The gist of it is, you have this couple, she realizes she's in a relationship that she should have left long ago. This is her finally reaching that point of gathering the strength to do something about it.
