Love your song "On my Watch Tonight". My husband was a marine and we hear alot of war stories. IT is amazing how you can be like a marine and then have to come home and be normal again. You all deserve a place in heaven and I pray for God to give you all that opportunity. God Bless You and your music. Danjea Hall

My daughters sent a card from the Let's Say Thanks website. One of them clicked on the most beautiful song I have ever heard. I went to see what they were listening to and it was your song. Mike, I want to say thank you from the bottom of my heart for your continued dedication to our country. My father was a West Point grad and served under General Patton.Much to his "shigrin" he had two daughters and neither myself or my sister followed his footsteps and joined the military. We appreciate all that you, your wife and fellow soldiers do daily to make this country what it is. Land of the free and home of the brave.
Peace and Blessings,

Sir
I just came across your song while looking at USMC on Youtube. It’s wonderful and I thank you for the passion and for your service to our country. My father was a Marine and my Son just graduated from MCRD-SD on November 20, 2009 and he is currently on his 10 day leave. I will be sharing your song with him in the morning when I get home from work. Thank You Again

Thank you for your continued commitment and service to this country. Thank you for hardwork and dedication to each and everyone of us!
I first heard your song My Watch a couple years ago on a local radio station here in NC. I believe at the time you were stationed in NC. The DJ's said you were leaving for your first deployment to Iraq. The song gave me goose bumps, I fell in love with it! I remember I was on my way to work and sat in the car and waited to hear all of it before I got out. Great song!
Thank you again!

I sent a card on Letssaythanks.com and I was looking through the website and I found your video. It is a very beautiful song. I am 18 years old getting ready to graduate high school. I am one of the not so many children that remember the 9/11 attacks. Some kids are to young to remember and some just block it out. But sometimes I can help but think about it. And whenever I do I always think about all of the troops that we still have over their and it makes me sad. I just want to say thank you for all that you have done. It is greatly appriciated. Thank you again.

He called after we were sending video messages via cellies and told us to watch a tribute video set to your song we did and were just blown away. I have to say I do not think many could capture the feelings and emotions like you have. My brother just got back from Iraq in march while in Iraq he lost one of his close friends and now will be leaving around the 20TH of Nov for Afghanistan....I have made this my song on my myspace and added a video link on facebook....Thank You soooo much to you and all the Marines!!!!!!! Hi Mike!!!
First of all I want to thank you for sacrificing so much and serving with the best of the best- the UNITED STATES MARINES!!!!!!! I might be a lil biased, as my son, Sgt. Ryan G. Flohr is also a Marine!!!! He too started on that wonderful lil Island in S.C. It's the best thing he ever did, and he "loved" Parris Island so much that he has returned to now dish out the orders as a Drill Instructor!!!!!!!!!! On June 24th, we went down to watch his first Platoon graduate. Alpha Co. , 1st Battalion, which is the same one he graduated with from Boot!
Anyways, I just was told about your song, On My Watch Tonight, and I absolutely LOVE it!!!!! I plan to call him later today and see if he's ever heard it, I know he and his wife ( also a Sgt. in the Corps ) will love it as well!!!!
Keep up the great work and THANKS again for serving our fine Country!!!!!! God Bless!!!!

I'd have to say that Start Saving Me is one of the most amazing songs I have ever heard. Being in the ARMY, I am away from my loved ones quite often, and this song represents all the emotions of being so far away. I would also have to agree that the strongest people in the military are the spouses and loved ones, for everything that they have to do. I soon will have my own wife and I won't forget to let her know that she is the strongest, most amazing person I know. Thanks for this song, it's brought a whole new outlook to what we as soldiers sometimes don't pick up on.

I'd love to have the opportunity to see you live - if you can, stop by Toronto some time! Don't stop what you do, you're so wonderful! I'm not american, but thank you anyways for doing what you do in the army. You have a good heart, and a wonderful talent. Keep up the good work!

Hey Mike-
I just want to start off by saying thanks for your service to this great nation. My fiance just got out of the Marine Corp but is contemplating going back in. I also have a brother who is a young Army SGT who is set to go back to Iraq this friday to finish out the rest of his deployment. Needless to say when the two of them get together its a war in itself. but i love them both and they will both FOREVER be my heroes as will ALL of our people in the military. your song with Jon Rich made me cry, my grandfather was killed in pearl harbor. never got a chance to meet him, tho i heard he was a great man.
Take care and God Bless

WOW!You are amazing. In many ways. First, as a selfless-brave "Defender of FREEDOM!" And second, as a musician. Your songs are beautifully touching. My father,(nolonger with me) was a WWII Army veteran & survived the "Battle of Bastogne" in Normandy. He wrote in his bible, "cold & hungry, waiting to kill or be killed--they call us the 'bastards of bastogne'." He could never speak of the terrors he lived through. He was a wonderful father & "My Hero!" You guys are taking that spot in a way, now. I can't imagine what it takes to be "you." My heart & prayers go out to you, your wife, family, friends and the rest of the brave men & women there at your side. THANK YOU SO MUCH!! Words seem so small compared to the will & the heart you all have. This world will be a better place someday, because of HEROES like YOU!!! May God keep you safe so you may return home after your job is done. Hopefully, SOON!!! Merry Christmas from a fellow USA PROUD CITIZEN!!

In the video for "On My Watch Tonight", the last picture, the one with the guy and the guitar, is special to me because the guitar is identical to mine! (A blue Ibanez Talman!) I was really surprised to see that. I have a second cousin in the military (I can't remember which branch). Every time I hear a song about the war, or just see pictures, tears start running down my face. I can't help it, I just feel so hopeful and thankful and sad and angry all at the same time.

I am a very proud mother of 4 sons. The oldest unfortunately
recieved a medical discharge from the Army a few months ago. Our second son went on his 17th birthday and signed up for the Army as well. He will go to Jackson, SC for boot camp, leaving on his 18th birthday. Our 14 year old and 10 year old boys are already looking at jobs, so that when they are eligible, they can go ahead and sign up as well. You can only imagine our pride in our wonderful sons for choosing to serve their country. Their father was in the Navy for 5 years. I am, of course scared for my boys safety, but am grateful knowing that many honorable men like you will look out for them. We truely appreciate your service and dedication to this great country of ours. We wish all of our service men and women a very safe and merry Christmas. We will be praying for everyones safe return. Know how proud we all are of you all for your strength and courage. Thank you for such a powerful song. I will truely cherish it.

Mike,
I listened to your song
"On My Watch Tonight" after sending a card to someone in the military via the Xerox web site. There have been many songs written by people that have touched my heart, but yours especially did so as it was written by someone who has experienced serving in another country, going through the training, the battles, seeing things that the "normal" American citizen will never know, etc. My dad, who is now deceased, was in the army and fought in several major battles in WWII, including the Invasion of Normandy. I have an uncle who was in the Navy who also was in the Battle of Normandy. I have a great respect for our military personnel and what all of you do to provide us with the freedoms we enjoy. When I think of the many men and women in the military today and those who have served in the past since our country became a free nation, I am so thankful to God for those of you who have fought and those who continue to fight to keep our freedom and to keep us safe. The words "Thank you" seem inadequate to describe the sense of peace given to us by each military person in each military branch. I pray for your safety and protection. May each person serving our country know and feel the love of our Lord surroudning you with His protection and peace.

Mike, As a 'Musician' myself, I couldn't believe what you had 'created!' Such a 'Beautiful Lovesong' from you to the 'People of America.'
As a "Woman" I was so 'Touched Emotionally' it made me cry.
You spoke right to my 'Heart' when you said "you would take the 'Bullets' so I won't have to." and that "You would keep me safe, 'On My Watch Tonight."
I Love You, Mike, and 'Thank You' from the bottom of my heart. God Bless You and all the 'Troops' fighting for us.
"COME HOME SAFE!" FRANCES
