When I asked him why he enlisted he said the one thing I couldn't argue with, he said " because I'm an American" Of course I'm so very proud of him. My son is currently at Parris Island. I did not know who you were until I looked at Platoon 3042's myspace page, heard your song and cried until I had no tears left to shed. I am one of your biggest fans now and have the words of On My Watch Tonight memorized. I hum it in my head contantly as I count down the days to graduation and holding my child tight in my arms. I happened to stumble across your song On My Watch Tonight and when I listened to it it made me cry and think about my own Marine whos stationed at Camp Fallujah right now. I met Corporal Zachary Strobridge while he was home on leave after his first tour to Iraq and we happened to fall in love and got engaged last December. After being thrown into a military relationship I can't help but want to thank all the service men I see. I understand how hard it is to be gone and I thank you.

Just found your site, my child. i'm an old lady whose youngest son has been home from iraq (ramadi) just since november. he goes back later this year or early next. your music has touched my soul and made me cry--but then i do when i think of all the young ones who are fighting in a war that shouldn't have begun. this time has brought memories i had hoped were put away forever.

I just saw your story on the IReport show on CNN a few minutes ago. What a very good, emotional and moving song to dedicate to the troops. And I like your band's music--it sounds like a cross between Nickelback, some Daughtry and Jars of Clay, that midtempo styled rock with spiritual themes that's so popular now.
